Volunteer abroad Wales offers you a chance to come, see and enjoy this wonderful part of the world, which is packed full of history, beautiful surroundings, and plentiful with wildlife at a price that's affordable to everyone, from the age of 18-80. We offer you your very own personal coordinator, who will make your visit to Wales a memorable and enjoyable one. Whether you're travelling from the UK or worldwide, on your own or with friends, for 1 month to 1 year, it's all arranged for you, taking the hassle out of this once in a lifetime adventure.

We are based in the heart of the Welsh Cambrian Mountains, near to the popular University town of Aberystwyth, on the west coast of Wales, where you will find the Aberystwyth Arts Centre, which is home to many exhibitions, theatres, festivals, galleries, craft fairs, live music and much, much more; Aberystwyth also has a main train station - these travel to most parts of the UK, and England's capital city London.

Aberystwyth is recognised as one of the safest and friendliest towns in the UK and has the UK’s lowest crime rate.

Each of our placements are tailor made around your requirements, so that you can do as much or as little as you like, be busy every day, or just a few days/hours per week, whether you would like to give something back and volunteer for a local organization, or pursue an interest of yours... You decide the package that's right for you. We will provide you with a host family to look after you during your stay and we can also arrange some voluntary work, ranging from helping out in a national park, local community, charity organisation, museum or simply just visit us to pursue your favourite hobby/interests a personal guide/mentor is available if required.

Some of the available activities include; bird watching, cycling, fishing, walking, sightseeing, photography along with many more. Why not come and learn a new skill, qualification, language or just to improve your English. Come and explore the natural beauty of the Welsh countryside, mountains, castles, beaches and nature reserves. The Welsh pride themselves with a vast quantity of great castles and have more castles per square mile than probably any other nation on earth, with an abundance of historic attractions dating back to ancient times.
